Cryoblaster® Dry Ice Blasting: The Ultimate Solution for Removing Industrial Adhesive Residue
The sticker and label industry faces unique cleaning challenges. Industrial adhesive residues, often viscous and stubborn, accumulate on equipment, compromising performance and making maintenance complex. Fortunately, dry ice blasting Cryoblaster® offers a revolutionary solution to eliminate these contaminants effectively and quickly, while respecting the environment.
Cleaning an electrical cabinet fouled by adhesives
- Industry : Electrical
- Treatment purpose : outdoor parking cabinet
- Equipment used : ATX25-P
Recently, we intervened to clean an electrical cabinet from a machine tool used in the manufacturing of stickers and labels.
The cabinet, which also contained pneumatic distributors, presented a viscous buildup due to adhesives.
The challenge was twofold: to effectively remove sticky residues without damaging sensitive electrical and pneumatic components, despite the absence of certain key elements.
Thanks to cryogenic cleaning Cryoblaster®, we successfully met this challenge. The Carbon dioxide ice, projected at high velocity, made it possible to dislodge adhesive residues without abrasion, thus preserving the equipment's integrity.
Good to know
Le dry ice cleaning nozzles is an innovative technique that uses Carbon dioxide iceparticles in the form of 3 mm pellets, projected at high velocity to dislodge contaminants from surfaces. This projection is carried out using compressed air, a blaster and supersonic nozzles. The Carbon dioxide ice, in solid form, sublimes instantly upon contact with the surface, creating a thermal shock that weakens residues and detaches them effortlessly. This process, which combines three simultaneous effects (kinetic, thermal, and sublimation), is particularly effective for eliminating adhesive residues, greases, oils, paints, varnishes, and other stubborn contaminants.
Unlike traditional cleaning methods, dry ice cleaning generates no secondary waste, as Carbon dioxide ice sublimes into carbon dioxide, an inert gas naturally present in the atmosphere. This method is : its, making it ideal for delicate surfaces and sensitive equipment, such as electronic circuits, machine tools, injection molds, and food processing equipment. Additionally, it allows for on-site cleaning without disassembly, which represents considerable time savings.
Cryoblaster® is a leading brand in the field of cryogenic cleaning, offering a complete range of high-performance and environmentally responsible equipment. The Cryoblaster® machines are designed to meet the specific needs of various industries, including the food processing industry, the automotive industry, the aerospace industry, and many others. Thanks to their versatility and effectiveness, Cryoblaster® solutions allow you to optimize cleaning processes, reduce maintenance costs, and minimize environmental impact.
