DRY ICE BLASTING MACHINE: EXTREME APPLICATIONS
The ATX25-E V2 is designed for intensive dry ice blasting operations and industrial maintenance interventions. Thanks to its regulated electropneumatic technology, it improves impact efficiency compared to a conventional pneumatic blaster, with an estimated gain of 25 to 30%, while optimizing compressed air consumption.
Robust and manufactured entirely in stainless steel (except airlock system), it offers great versatility of use. It removes contaminants from industrial surfaces with strong adhesion, such as baked-on grease, varnish, or certain adhesives, while maintaining sufficiently precise adjustment to adapt the blasting to more sensitive substrates.
Regulated pressure range: 0 to 16 bar, with progressive adjustment to adapt blasting power to the substrate being cleaned.
Dry ice consumption: 0 to 75 kg/h, with continuous regulator to adjust flow rate according to application and control operating costs.
Large capacity hopper: 25 kg in 304 stainless steel, equipped with an electric vibrator to ensure regular dry ice feed during extended operations.
Control and safety: pressure and dry ice consumption regulators in series, hour meter, RESET function, and motor thermal protection.
Standard industrial package: 7 m antistatic and abrasion-resistant blast hose, electrically controlled blast gun with LED lighting, 340° rotating coupling, set of 3 industrial nozzles B101, B105, and BPL38, with several options available depending on applications.
To optimize and secure your configuration: compressed air sizing with turnkey compressor packages from 3,000 to 5,000 l/min, cleaning of de-energized electrical cabinets after installation lockout, preventive and corrective maintenance of your industrial processes.
To secure your setup: Compressed air & dry ice blasting · Compressed air sizing · Cleaning electrical cabinets
Designed for intensive industrial interventions, the ATX25-E combines autonomy, consistent blasting flow, and precise pressure adjustment. Its regulated electropneumatic technology improves impact efficiency compared to a conventional pneumatic machine, with a gain that can reach 25 to 30%, while limiting compressed air consumption. It is suitable for industrial maintenance operations, cleaning production lines, and treating strongly adherent contaminants such as baked-on grease, varnish, adhesives, or process residues.
To go further and secure your setup:
-
- Compressed air & dry ice blasting — understand the critical points related to air quality and stability.
- Compressed air sizing — avoid performance losses and unsuitable settings.
- Cleaning electrical cabinets — a sensitive application requiring precise pressure control.

Positioning of the ATX25-E V2 dry ice blaster for intensive industrial operations: when to choose this equipment?
The ATX25-E V2 is designed for intensive dry ice blasting interventions and industrial maintenance operations requiring autonomy, consistency, and blasting power. More than just cleaning equipment, it is a robust working machine, suitable for production environments and repeated applications. Thanks to its electropneumatic motor, it can treat heavily soiled surfaces when conventional pneumatic equipment reaches its limits in torque or blasting stability. It projects 3 mm dry ice pellets with improved impact efficiency, achieving up to 30% gain compared to a conventional pneumatic machine, while optimizing compressed air consumption.
Typical applications of the ATX25-E dry ice blaster
The ATX25-E is designed for treating industrial surfaces and intensive maintenance operations. Its main advantage lies in its regulated electropneumatic motor, which ensures stable dry ice flow and improves impact efficiency compared to traditional pneumatic blasters.
This design delivers consistent cleaning on strongly adherent contaminants, such as baked-on grease, certain varnishes, or adhesive residues, while maintaining controlled compressed air consumption. The ATX25-E is therefore suitable for production environments, maintenance workshops, foundry applications, plastics processing, or industrial production lines.
- Enhanced impact efficiency: suitable for strongly adherent residues in foundries, plastics processing, or industrial maintenance.
- Working autonomy: 25 kg hopper and blasting flow adapted to large surfaces and extended interventions.
- Regulated electropneumatic motor: more stable dry ice flow, reduced blasting surges, and optimized compressed air consumption.

Limitations and unsuitable use cases
Optimal use
-
Intensive corrective maintenance: Ideal for removing thick layers of burnt grease, varnish, adhesives, and resins.
-
Large surface cleaning: Maximum output on machine frames and industrial floors thanks to its 25 kg hopper.
-
Plastics and foundry molds: Effective cleaning of complex cavities and core boxes without abrasion.
-
Technical stripping and construction: Suitable power for bitumen, degreasing, or demanding end-of-project work.
-
Food Industry: Hygienic cleaning of production lines (all 304 stainless steel construction).
-
Heavy automotive restoration: Deep cleaning of engines and chassis requiring high kinetic energy.
Unsuitable use cases
-
Deep oxidation and rust: Since CO2 is non-abrasive, it cannot remove rust that has penetrated the metal structure. Use the optional abrasive kit.
-
Mineral scale and thick limescale: These deposits often require abrasive or chemical mechanical action that dry ice alone cannot provide. Use the optional abrasive kit.
-
Epoxy or baked-on paints: Although more effective, stripping these ultra-adherent coatings remains very slow (sandblasting will be more cost-effective). Use the optional abrasive kit.
-
Ultra-fragile surfaces without testing: With an impact force 30% higher, it may be too aggressive for extremely delicate substrates (fine textiles, soft plastics) if pressure is not reduced. Use the optional fragmentation nozzle and subsonic nozzle.
-
24/7 robotic integration: For automated production lines without any human intervention, a specific integration solution is preferable. Contact us for a specific integration solution.
Compressed Air: Simple Integration or Full Autonomy
For an industrial site, the existing compressed air installation is generally sufficient to operate the ATX25-E V2, provided that the available flow rate and pressure are suitable. For a mobile service provider, however, purchasing or renting a dedicated compressor is often necessary to use the machine under consistent working conditions on external job sites.

Mobile Solution: MSP 5000
A suitable solution for mobile service providers. This diesel compressor delivers 5,000 L/min, allowing the ATX25-E V2 to operate independently on outdoor job sites, without relying on the customer’s compressed air installation.
