Air Pressure and Flow: What You Need to Know for Dry Ice Cleaning
In 85% of cases, dry ice blasting is performed with a pressure of 6 to 7 bar and an air flow rate of between 3,000 and 5,000 liters per minute.
👉 The vast majority of companies are already equipped with compressors compatible with these performance levels.
However, some specific applications require higher pressure:
- In 10% of cases, pressures of 8 to 10 bar are used.
- In approximately 5% of situations, pressure can reach 11 to 12 bar, with air flow rates between 5,000 and 8,000 l/min.
